Loosing out on a love that changed me
A love that liberated like the wind
And taught me to be free
Hurts like a knife stuck in my heart
I'd rather not have felt this way
than feel the grace of love and loose it
I'd rather just have been unaware of a feeling this deep
than be swooned and then fall
So the love we shared is now lost,
Lost amongst indecision, skepticism, and doubt
You couldn't love me with all the baggage
So you opted out.
I wish love was enough.

"I wish love was enough." unfortunately, love is never enough.
Rather, love is a conscious choice we make knowing fully well that love itself is a risk.
It depends on how you look at it really... Love, in its truest form, is enough... Love = God, when its true.
